On Wednesday, president Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Bruno Dantas, Vice President of the Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts, in the presence of Counselor Hisham Badawy, head of the Central Auditing Organization.
“Sisi welcomed the visit of the Brazilian official to Egypt, praising the distinguished friendship between Egypt and Brazil,” said Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
In the same vein, Sisi stressed Egypt’s keenness to deepen bilateral relations in various fields, especially in the fields of public financial control and accounting, in light of the common visions and experiences.
On his part, Dantas expressed his honor to meet the President, appreciating the strong historical ties between Egypt and Brazil.
Moreover, the Brazilian jurist affirmed his country’s keenness to enhance mutual understanding with Egypt in the fields of financial and legal supervision and combating corruption, especially in light of the importance of the role of the relevant agencies in the two countries in protecting state funds and property.
He praised, in this regard, what Egypt has achieved under the leadership of Sisi over the past years in the field of comprehensive development.
