The romance-drama film “Qeset Hob” (Love Story) is getting a sequel after four years of release.
The 2019 film starred Hannah El Zahed, Ahmed Hatem, Hanan Soliman, Ola Roshdy, Yasser Eltobgy, and others.
Othman Abo Labn directed the pic from a screenplay she co-wrote with Amany Al Tounsi.
“Qeset Hob” is centered around Yousef (Hatem), whose world is shaken up after an accident that leaves him blind, but a twist of fate brings the beautiful Jameela (El Zahed) into his life.
The film achieved great success upon release, as it opened during Valentine’s Day season. The total earnings at the box office amounted to EGP 10,761,4103.
El Zahed confirmed that she and Hatem will return to reprise their roles in the upcoming, despite the film ending with her death.
This comes after Hatem revealed that he and El Zahed will once again be reunited on the big screen for a sequel to one of their films.
