Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to facilitate the acquisition of Russian citizenship for residents of Donbass and Ukraine.
The decree included facilitating the procedures for obtaining citizenship for people permanently residing in Ukraine as well as in the People's Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.
This decree included also extending a simplified Russian naturalisation process to all citizens of Ukraine, a document published on the government's website showed.
