Putin Affirms All Russian Corona Vaccines' Effectiveness

Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed the effectiveness of Russian Coronavirus vaccines on Tuesday.

Putin said at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization leaders' meeting: "Russia has two registered vaccines, and studies have shown and confirmed that, first: they are safe and have no serious side effects, and second: they are effective, because the people who were vaccinated and then dealt with the virus carriers did not get sick, however, they may have had mild symptoms."

He added that it is expected that a third vaccine will be registered soon.

Russia had previously announced the registration of the first vaccine in the world against the Coronavirus last August, and so far two vaccines have been registered, the first "Sputnik-V", and the second is called "EpivacCorona".
