Paris Saint-Germain successfully defended their UEFA Champions League title, defeating Arsenal F.C. 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation and extra time in the 2025-26 final at Puskás Aréna.

Arsenal took an early lead through Kai Havertz in the sixth minute, putting the London club on course for a historic first Champions League title. However, Paris Saint-Germain responded in the second half when Ousmane Dembele converted a penalty in the 66th minute to level the score.

Neither side could find a winner during extra time, sending the match to a dramatic penalty shootout. PSG held their nerve from the spot, converting four penalties to Arsenal's three and securing a 5-4 victory overall.

The triumph marks back-to-back Champions League titles for the French champions and further cements the legacy of head coach Luis Enrique, who has overseen one of the most successful periods in the club's history since taking charge in 2023.
