On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain qualified for the final of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, after a resounding 4-0 victory over Real Madrid.

The two teams met at MetLife Stadium in the semi-final stage of the tournament.

Fabián Ruiz opened the scoring early for Paris Saint-Germain just 6 minutes into the match, capitalizing on a major error by Real Madrid defender Asensio.

Ousmane Dembélé added PSG’s second goal in the 9th minute, following another major defensive mistake but this time by Antonio Rüdiger.

Fabián Ruiz strengthened PSG’s lead with a third goal in the 24th minute.

In the second half, Gonçalo Ramos sealed the 4-0 win with a goal in the 87th minute.

The game witnessed a sweet tribute to the late Liverpool's star Diogo Jota, and the farewell of Luka Modric from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium-based team.

Paris Saint-Germain will face English Premier League side Chelsea in the final, scheduled for next Sunday.
