In an exclusive remark to SEE, one of the protesters George Petterson explained the movement as a peaceful effective movement which aims to trigger the government to take drastic measures before environmental hazards get out of hand. Petterson also encouraged the long term plan to exchange fuel based cars to electricity charged ones like Tesla.

On Tuesday afternoon, police said they were taking “positive action” on the demonstration, which the Metropolitan police said was causing “serious disruptions to public transport, local businesses and Londoners who wish to go about their daily business”.
