Health Affairs Presidential Advisor Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din said that Egypt’s plan to provide all types of COVID-19 for Egyptians is very ‘tight’ and ‘professional’.
In televised remarks, Tag El-Din added that there are more than 1000 vaccination centers across the republic, praising citizens’ high turnout the receive the jab.
On Tuesday, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, Health Ministry spokesman confirmed that COVID-19 vaccine boosts immunity and reduces the risk of infection.
Abdel Ghaffar added that the vaccine does not prevent coronavirus infection, stressing that people must follow precautionary measures such as wearing facemasks and maintaining social distancing.
Moreover, he also urged citizens to register online in order to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible.
