President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
They discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them at the political and economic levels, in line with the momentum witnessed by Egyptian-European relations, counsellor Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said.
The official spokesman explained that the call focused on the situation in the Gaza Strip, and Egyptian efforts to restore regional stability by reaching a ceasefire in the Strip and implementing humanitarian aid, as the President stressed the need to stop the ongoing war, warning against any military operations in the Palestinian Rafah.
