President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan in Cairo on Saturday as part of an official visit during which he will hold talks with a number of Egyptian officials.
The talks focus on bilateral ties and regional issues, including the Gaza cease-fire negotiations, mediated by Egypt, Qatar and the United States, as well as Israel's plans to take control of Gaza City and the humanitarian situation there.
Fidan will also address developments in Africa, including in Libya, Sudan and Somalia.
