President Sisi Opens TransMEA 2020

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurated on Sunday the third edition of the Smart Transportation and Logistics Fair and Forum for the Middle East and Africa (TransMEA 2020), according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.

Afterward, Sisi inspected the fair's pavilions, where he was briefed on vehicles and other public transportation run by natural gas and electricity, as well as cars equipped with chairs for people with special needs, the spokesman added.

"TransMEA 2020 comes as the country pushes ahead with expanding new smart cities and building modern transport systems aimed at upgrading road networks, reduce travel time, transportation costs and fuel consumption," the spokesman noted.
