In a compelling appeal at the Arab-Islamic summit, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has reinforced the critical need for a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, advocating for East Jerusalem as its rightful capital based on the 1967 borders.

Addressing leaders in Riyadh, President El-Sisi highlighted Egypt's consistent stance against one-sided policies and cautioned against the ongoing conflict in Gaza. He warned that persistent assaults and their unprecedented brutality threaten to rapidly and irreversibly alter the regional dynamics.

The President called upon the global community to uphold its duty to protect Palestinian civilians and ensure the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid. Furthermore, he demanded that Israel acknowledge its international obligations as the occupying power.

Amidst the volatile atmosphere of the Gaza conflict, President El-Sisi's message was clear: restraint is paramount, yet without proactive efforts to cease hostilities, the region may face an expanded military confrontation.
