President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of Greece, on the sidelines of the Egyptian-European Summit. The two sides discussed a number of bilateral cooperation files, most notably the joint declaration on establishing the high-level cooperation council between the two countries, which is expected to be signed today.
They also discussed the regional situation, and stressed the necessity of intensive work to end the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, by intensifying pressure to reach an immediate ceasefire.
