President Sisi Discusses National Security Implications with Egypt's Military Leaders

On Tuesday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, engaged in critical discussions with General Mohamed Zaki, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Chief of Staff General Osama Askar, key military branch leaders, and various high-ranking officers.

The agenda focused on the pivotal role of the Armed Forces in safeguarding Egypt's sovereignty and protecting its strategic interests, amidst an array of missions and activities. The meeting provided an opportunity to delve into the current regional and international dynamics and their implications for Egypt's national security framework.

A significant portion of the discussions was dedicated to Egypt's proactive endeavors in supporting the Palestinian cause, particularly aimed at ameliorating the harsh humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.
