Portugal will face Chile tonight at 8:45 PM in a high-level friendly match at the Estádio Nacional, as part of their final preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The match comes just days before the tournament begins on June 11 across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and serves as a key tactical test for Portugal as they finalize their squad and system.

Portugal enter the fixture in strong form, having avoided defeat in 10 of their last 11 matches, a run that has boosted confidence within the squad and coaching staff.

All eyes will once again be on captain Cristiano Ronaldo, who is set to play in his sixth World Cup after appearances in 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022.

Portugal have been drawn in Group 12 alongside DR Congo, Uzbekistan, and Colombia, and will be looking to carry their momentum into the tournament with strong early performances.
