The Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church, and Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Minister of Interior, and the brave policemen on the occasion of the celebrations of the 70th Police Day.
The church said in a statement that the heroism of the policemen on this day is just a symbol and a model of their sacrifice for the homeland.
The statement concluded, “As we appreciate their sacrifices, we pray to God to protect them, protect our country, Egypt, and bless it with security and stability.”
