Pope Francis has denounced the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, reiterating his demand for the release of hostages.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that ten citizens were killed and others injured in an airstrike by Israeli forces on a house in the Ma'an area east of Khan Yunis.

Additionally, a man and his wife were killed in an airstrike targeting an apartment near the Ain Jalut Towers south of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Another young man lost his life in an airstrike on his family's home in Deir al-Balah, also in central Gaza.
