An opinion poll in Israel showed that none of the two competing political camps would be able to form a government if the Knesset elections were held on October 25 without a broad and radical change to the current partisan political map.

The poll came after Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid announced an agreement to dissolve the Knesset (THE Israeli parliament) and head to new elections, the fifth in three years.

The poll showed the possibility of the Likud party obtaining 36 seats, but without the party leader Benjamin Netanyahu is able to form a government.

The camp opposed to Netanyahu, chairman of the Likud, does not have the a

bility to form a government.

Despite this, Netanyahu remains the strongest politician in Israel, according to opinion polls conducted over the past 8 months.

The poll also shows that the camp supporting Netanyahu will get 59 seats, less than half the number of Knesset seats with one seat.
