PM Honors Minister of Culture with Government Excellence Award for Equal Opportunities and Women's Empowerment

The Ministry of Culture has been awarded the prestigious Government Excellence Award for Equal Opportunities and Women's Empowerment. The award was presented today by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly to Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, during the ceremony for the 4th edition of the "Egypt Award for Government Excellence."

Held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the event was organized by the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation. The ceremony saw the attendance of several high-ranking officials, including:

 Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population.

Lt. Gen. Eng. Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport.

 Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning and Economic Development.

 H.E. Ohood Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future of the United Arab Emirates.

 A distinguished group of ministers, governors, and leading media figures.

A Commitment to Equality

Expressing his pride, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano emphasized that this recognition reflects the Egyptian state's commitment to instilling values of justice and equality while fostering women’s empowerment within state institutions.

"This award serves as a catalyst to further enhance the work environment within the Ministry and increase female representation in decision-making positions," the Minister stated. He noted that such efforts align with the national strategy for sustainable development and Egypt Vision 2030, placing human capital at the heart of the Ministry's internal policies and public outreach.

Dr. Hano concluded by highlighting that the honor is a testament to the collective efforts across various departments to provide a fair, stimulating environment based on merit, transparency, and equal opportunity. He extended his gratitude to all Ministry employees, reaffirming a continued commitment to institutional reform and the role of culture in building national awareness and supporting comprehensive development.
