Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly extended his congratulations to Hesham Badawi following his election as Speaker of the House of Representatives, at the opening of the first ordinary session of the third legislative term.
Madbouly expressed his sincere wishes for Badawi’s success, voicing confidence that his extensive experience and distinguished professional career would enable him to make a meaningful contribution to strengthening the role and stature of the House of Representatives as one of Egypt’s long-standing national institutions.
The Prime Minister also congratulated Assem El-Gazzar and Mohamed El-Wahsh on their election as Deputy Speakers of the House. He affirmed the government’s readiness to engage in close and constructive cooperation with the newly formed parliament to ensure the highest level of coordination between the executive and legislative branches.
Madbouly stressed that such cooperation is essential to advancing national priorities and continuing joint efforts in the service of the country and its citizens, underscoring the importance of institutional integration in supporting Egypt’s development path.
