Egyptian actress Hannah El Zahed and her husband actor Ahmed Fahmy's new play “Gawaza Maafrata” is scheduled to make its debut in December, within the activities of Riyadh season, in Saudi Arabia.
The play will be hosted from December 2 to 6 at the Boulevard, the main venue for the Riyadh Season.
“Gawaza Maafrata” marks the second collaboration between the pair after the 2019 TV series "El Wad Sayed El Shahat".
The first edition of Riyadh season kicked off in 2019 and is one of the Saudi Seasons’s launched to transform the country into one of the world’s most important tourist and entertainment destinations that supports Saudi Vision 2030.
This edition is scheduled to run from October 20 to March 2022 under the slogan #Imagine_More.
Riyadh Season will feature about 7,500 activity days, running concurrently, including more than 100 interactive experiences, 350 theater shows, 10 international exhibitions, more than 24 plays, and 76 concerts.
The activities will be held in 14 regions, covering an area of 5.4 million square meters.

El Zahed has also recently joined the cast of the film “Baad Saat Fi Youm Ma”.
It also stars Mai Omar, Ahmed Hatem, Khaled Anwar, Huda El Mufti, Mayan El Sayed, Ahmed El Saadany, Aïcha Ben Ahmed, Hesham Maged, and others.
The film is based on Mohamed Sadek’s novel of the same title. Filmmaker Othman Abo Labn is directing the project from a script written by Sadek.
El Zahed will also team up with Hatem in the romcom TV series “Ana W Heya”.
It also stars Ashraf Abdil Baky, Mirhan Hussein, Arfa Abdel Rassoul, and others. The series is penned by Mostafa Hamdy and directed by Sameh Abdelaziz.
“Ana W Heya” consists of 15 episodes and is set to debut on a streaming service in the winter.
El Zahed was last seen in the TV series “El Nimr” (The Tiger), starring Mohamed Emam.
It also starred Nermine Elfeky, Mohamed Riad, Ahmed Abdullah Mahmoud, Bayoumi Fouad, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Enas Kamel, Alaa Morsi, and others.
“El Nimr” was written by Mohamed Salah Al-Azab and directed by Sherine Adel.
