The couple has been together for nine years and faced years of speculation over the future of their relationship.
Georgina fuelled engagement rumours back in April after posting a picture wearing a different ring, and last December at the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, Ronaldo referred to her as his wife on stage.
Previously explaining the delay, the 40-year-old football star said: “I always tell her, ‘when we get that click.’ Like everything with our life, and she knows what I’m talking about. It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I’m 1,000 per cent sure that it’ll happen.”

During their nine-year relationship, Ronaldo and Georgina have two daughters: Alana and Bella. While Bella’s twin brother, Angel, died during birth.
Georgina also helps raise Ronaldo’s three other children: Cristiano Jr, and twins Mateo and Eva Maria.
