Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said on Monday that his country intends to pay more attention to its relationship with China.
Philippine President made the remarks after a three-day "fruitful" state visit to China.
Marcos also pointed out that the bilateral relations between the Philippines and China began during the administration of his father, former President of the country Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
Moreover, he added that "boosting relationship" between the Philippines and China "can only smooth the way to a greater, deeper and stronger partnership."
