Pharaohs to Kick Off World Championship Tomorrow

The Egyptian Volleyball national team are getting ready to kick off their adventure in the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship against Australia on Tuesday, October 1.

The Pharaohs are taking part in this tournament alongside eleven teams; hosts Japan, holders Poland, Tunisia, Iran, Australia, Italy, Brazil, Russia, Argentina, the US, and Canada. All teams will face each other, and whoever collects the biggest number of points will be the champions.

Egypt's last participation in that tournament was in 2015 in Japan, where he took the tenth position.The best appearance for the Pharaohs was in 1985 World Championship, held in Japan where they ranked eighth.

Egypt's encounters are as follows:

1st: Egypt Vs. Australia on Tuesday, October 1 at 4:00 am (CLT)

2nd: Egypt Vs. Japan on Wednesday, October 2 at 4:00 am (CLT)

3rd: Egypt Vs. Brazil on Friday, October 4 at 11:00 am (CLT)

4th: Egypt Vs. Canada on Saturday, October 5 at 4:00 am (CLT)

5th: Egypt Vs. Russia on Sunday, October 6 at 4:00 am (CLT)

6th: Egypt Vs. Italy, on Wednesday, October 9 at 5:30 am (CLT)

7th: Egypt Vs. Poland on Thursday, October 10 at 5:30 am (CLT)

8th: Egypt Vs. Japan on Friday, October 11 at 12:30 pm (CLT)

9th: Egypt Vs. Tunisia on Sunday, October 13 at 10:00 am (CLT)

10th: Egypt Vs. Argentina on Monday, October 14 at 07:00 am (CLT)

11th: Egypt Vs. The US on Tuesday, October 15 at 4:00 am (CLT)
