Media reports revealed today, Saturday that Pfizer, a US therapeutic giant threatens Israel with delaying delivery of new shipments of the anti-Corona vaccine if Tel Aviv defaults the dues of the company.

Al Hurrah, a US space channel, quoted a statement of the company as saying that it has completed all shipments to Israel according to the contract signed with the Israeli government.

The company warned Israel during the current week to pay for the previous shipments before delivering an additional dose.

It stressed that the contracted doses may be directed to another destination if Israel doesn't honor the obligations of the other shipments.

It is worth noting that Israel and Pfizer signed an agreement last November to deliver an unknown number of doses of the vaccine.

On the other hand, Pfizer started the trial on humans to produce tablets to treat the Coronavirus (known also as COVID-19) when the first symptoms detected.

"Bloomberg", a US news website indicated that if those trials prove efficiency, the new medicine will be very practical to alleviate the infection with the deadly virus in the early stages of the infection.

Bloomberg pointed out the tablet depends on a protein named   Protease which prevents cloning of the virus inside human cells then to all limbs of the body.

The protein was experienced in treating other viral diseases such as   Human immunodeficiency virus infection and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) and   Hepatitis.

Pfizer pledges to launch trials to examine the effectiveness of a new vaccine to treat the COVID-19 in children under 12 years.

Pfizer and its German minor partner, Biotech have announced forming an alliance including  13 companies to produce two billion doses of the anti-Corona vaccine before the end of the current year.

Officials of the two companies warn that such an alliance presents a new challenge as they use very developed techniques and rare experiments along with restrictions on the export of the vaccine imposed by the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom (UK), and the United States of America (USA) throughout the last months.
