Parliamentary Election: Electoral Silence Begins

The National Elections Authority (NEA), chaired by Counselor Lashin Ibrahim, announced today, Sunday, the start of the electoral silence within the first phase of the parliamentary elections, as Egyptians abroad are set to cast their ballots next Wednesday.

Earlier, the Egyptian expats began to register their data on the official website of the National Elections Authority ahead of the parliamentary elections, so that they can vote via mail.

Meanwhile, the NEA announced that the first stage of the elections will kick off for Egyptians abroad from October 21 to 23 while it will kick off in Egypt on October 25 and 26.

The re-runs of the first stage will be held for Egyptians abroad from November 21 to 23 and in Egypt on November 24 and 25.
