Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives Soliman Wahdan confirmed that the government of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli has dealt well with the Coronavirus crisis so far.

"Madbouli deals with great realism, especially that any recklessness with this matter will have catastrophic facts, as happened in Italy and Iran," said Wahdan. "The Egyptians' dealing and awareness with this crisis are improving every day."

"Facing Coronavirus is a real battle in which all necessary measures and precautions must be taken to get out of the crisis safely," Wahdan added.

Wahdan said that there are a number of matters that can help in dealing with the virus, including summoning the Ministry of Health doctors who are pensioners in order to benefit from their experiences.

He pointed out that the medical students who are in their last academic year can help the country during this crisis.

Wahdan also suggested building quarantines in the desert away from the residential block of citizens.

The deputy speaker added "A partial ban should be imposed on all governorates, as well as the Ministry of Industry and Military Production allocate production lines for the manufacture of respirators, solutions, medicines, hospital beds, sterile materials, masks and other materials for sterilization.

He pointed out that one of the things that must be available to face this crisis is to take advantage of the youth centers and hotels and hand them over to the Ministry of Health to make field hospitals and equip them. Doctors should be distributed to those youth centers and hotels according to their geographical distribution.

The Deputy Speaker said, "The private hospitals should be exploited to use them in the event that the virus develops."

He stressed the need for businessmen to intervene, donate money, and make a special fund to face this crisis, by building field hospitals, sterilizing places, and making a special app for hospitals that must be addressed directly in the event that the patient feels symptoms of Coronavirus.
