Two hours after a “bomb threat" prompted evacuation in the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris, visitors were permitted to return to site on Saturday, a source within the French police told Reuters, according to News 18.
“It was a false alarm, people can go back inside," the source said.
A security alert on Saturday led to the evacuation of three levels of the tower, also known as France’s most iconic symbol located in central Paris.
