The luxury residential tower in Miami, where Yair, the son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, lives, witnessed a state of panic after the American police imposed a security cordon on the building following a warning of the presence of a suspicious object.

The Jerusalem Post reported on Thursday that Yair Netanyahu was not present in the building during the incident, noting that he returned home on Wednesday evening.

According to a report by Israel's Channel 12, a resident of the building said that the fire alarm had been pulled earlier that day, suggesting that there was a connection between the two incidents.

The building's management and the police department received a message asking residents to remain in their apartments and not approach the windows. After about 3 hours, they were informed that the closure had ended and that they could safely leave their apartments.

The incident caused rumors to spread among the building's residents via a WhatsApp group, with some believing that the suspicious object might be a bomb, while others considered the procedure to be routine and the reactions exaggerated.

The newspaper noted that the panic was caused by the presence of many Israelis in the building, in addition to Yair Netanyahu's residence there, which increased the sensitivity of the situation. One resident added that many people preferred not to discuss the details of the incident for fear of breaching contracts, noting that Yair seemed very worried about the situation.
