Hussein Al-Sheikh, Palestinian Vice President and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, met on Sunday in Doha with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani to discuss developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including the escalation of aggression, forced displacement, and colonial expansion plans.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), Qatari Prime Minister (PM) stressed the urgent need to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza and to ensure the unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid to the Strip.
He also reiterated Qatar’s firm position in support of the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
