The Palestinian Presidency has strongly condemned recent plots aimed at undermining Jordan’s national security and inciting chaos within the kingdom. The condemnation was issued on Tuesday, as reported by Cairo News Channel in a breaking news update.
The statement comes in response to revelations by Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani, Jordan’s Minister of Government Communication and official spokesperson, who disclosed that the General Intelligence Department had thwarted plans designed to disrupt national stability.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Al-Momani stated that Jordanian intelligence services had been closely monitoring the suspects involved since 2021 and successfully apprehended all individuals linked to the plot. He praised the department’s vigilance and professionalism in neutralising what he described as a serious threat to the country’s internal security.
The Palestinian leadership reaffirmed its solidarity with Jordan, stressing that the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom are vital to the region and that any attempts to destabilise the country are categorically rejected.
