The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, that 220 martyrs were killed and 6039 people injured during ten days of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank including Al Quds (known in Israeli and Western sources as Jerusalem).

It is worth noting that Israeli aggression started on the Palestinian territories on May 7.

The ministry indicated that 21 martyrs, among them a child,  were recorded in the West Bank as well as 3728 wounded in additional to 198 martyrs, among them 58 children, 35 women, and 1300 wounded people.

In the same context, one martyr was recorded in Al-Quds and 1011 wounded people.

About 487 injured that include 60 serious cases, 204 medium and 223 light injures, were transferred to hospitals to receive treatment.

On the other hand, dozens of Palestinian people were suffocated today due to inhaling tear gas hurled by forces of the Israeli occupation over confrontations in the ancient town of Al Khalil (known in Israeli sources as Hebron).

"WAFA", a Palestinian news agency, revealed that clashes broke out at dawn in the western area of Abraham's Mosque at the town after the Israel forces intervened to disperse a march condemning the Israeli aggression on the Palestinians in Jerusalem, governorates of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

The agency pointed out the Israeli warplanes continued today to hit civilian targets and refugee camps throughout the Strip.

Al-Arabia, satellite channel revealed that the Palestinian territories will see tomorrow a general strike in order to support Al-Quds and the Gaza Strip.

"Sky News", a space channel, indicated in a piece of breaking news,  that the United Nations (UN) Security Council is going to decide this evening the draft of a resolution to the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The correspondents of the channel said that the United States of America (USA) is expected to veto any resolution adopted by the council.
