Palestinian FM Condemns Israeli Escalation against the Palestinians

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the escalation in the aggression of the occupation forces and settlers against the Palestinian people, and the Israeli denial of the right of the Palestinian people to their homeland and their right to self-determination without foreign occupation and colonial settlement.

In a statement, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said the Israeli government is responsible for its crimes and their repercussions on the entire conflict arena, stressing that the Israeli government, headed by Naftali Bennett, is destroying the chances of achieving peace on the basis of the principle of the two-state solution.

Noteworthy, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the violations committed by Israeli extremists protected by the Israeli forces against Al-Aqsa Mosque.Ahmed Hafez, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, affirmed Egypt’s rejection of these violations, stressing that Egypt has always warned against harming Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He also indicated that a mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. Hence, the Israeli authorities are responsible for protecting worshipers to maintain security and stability and refrain from everything that contributes to creating any tension or action that leads to escalation
