Today, Friday, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that Israel is trying to impose partition on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement, the ministry condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation forces' storming this morning of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the firing of rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at the worshipers.
The Israeli incursion led to the injury of dozens of them and obstructed the Palestinian Red Crescent's access to the wounded, and the occupation restricted worshipers from reaching the Mosque.
The Palestinian ministry said that all of this is taking place amid Israeli officials' claims that they are keen on the status quo or deal "cautiously" with the situation in the Mosque.
