Palestine Urges UNSC to Take Action Against Israeli Excavations in Al-Aqsa

On Monday, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities towards the Israeli occupation`s crimes and its excavations in Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to RT.

In a statement, the Ministry condemned the occupation excavations in Al-Buraq Square, the western wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and near the Mughrabi Gate, as part of the plan to Judize the area of ​​the southwestern Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It pointed out to the ambitions of the occupation in the Silwan region, which is exposed daily to continuous occupation targeting aimed at the displacement and expulsion of its citizens.

The statement also condemned the olive uprooting that the occupation authorities, its forces, and settlers continue to commit in the occupied West Bank.
