The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has issued a strong statement categorically rejecting what it described as “baseless and irresponsible” allegations by Indian media, which accused Pakistan of launching attacks on Pathankot, Jaisalmer, and Srinagar.
In Press Release No. 130/2025, Pakistan’s Foreign Office denounced the claims as “entirely unfounded, politically motivated, and part of a reckless propaganda campaign” designed to malign Pakistan and destabilize the region.
“The repeated pattern of leveling accusations without credible investigation reflects a deliberate strategy to fabricate pretexts for aggression,” the statement said.
The Ministry warned that such disinformation campaigns pose a serious threat to regional peace and reveal India’s willingness to exploit false narratives for political and military gain.
Pakistan called on the international community to take serious notice of India’s conduct and urged global powers to counsel New Delhi toward restraint and responsible behavior.
“Any escalation based on false pretenses will be met with full resolve and determination to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the Ministry affirmed.
While reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to peace, the statement made clear that the country will not be intimidated or misled by provocations and reserves the right to respond to any acts of aggression.
