On June 8, 22 people were killed and a child was injured when a bus fell from a hilltop on a highway in the southern Pakistani province of Balochistan.

Dawn newspaper quoted Deputy Police Commissioner Hafiz Muhammad Qasim as saying that the stricken truck, which had approximately 23 people on board, was heading from Loralai to Ghob district.

Fatal accidents are common in the Asian country due to poor road infrastructure and disregard for traffic laws.
