Paderborn's Luca Kilian became the first player to recover from coronavirus (COVID-19) in the world.
Kilian was the 1st Bundesliga player to test positive for coronavirus.
Kilian, 20, said that he suffered from raging fever and headache and these symptoms lasted for four days.
He also said that he is now in good condition.
On March 16, Germany’s government decided to suspend Germany’s Bundesliga and second pision until at least April 2 and close all the stadiums due to the concerns over coronavirus.
This decision came within the framework of the efforts, exerted by the government to combat the virus (COVID-19).
The government decided to close all the stadiums, alongside swimming pools and gyms until the risk of coronavirus outbreak passes.
During a meeting in Frankfurt, the German clubs agreed on suspending all the domestic competition, including Bundesliga and second pision, until April 2.
On his part, the CEO of the “Deutsche Fußball Liga” (DFL) Christian Seifert said the competitions could not be resumed on April 3.
“I want to stress that we do not expect to play on April 3. This is the most difficult period of our professional life. We live in a time of extreme uncertainty,” Seifert said during a press conference.
Many countries across the world decided to suspend all the domestic sports to combat the virus, which claimed thousands of lives worldwide.
