Pacheco Signs One-Year Contract with Zamalek (Photos)

Zamalek's new head coach Jaime Pacheco has signed a one-year contract with the White Knights, with an option to renew the contract. 

This happened in the presence of Zamalek's vice president Ahmed Galal Ibrahim, Ismail Youssef, a member of Zamalek's board of directors, and the supervisor of football's in the White Knights, Amir Mortada Mansour.

On his part, Zamalek's president Mortada Mansour met with the Portuguese manager and his assistants, hoping that he can succeed with the team to meet Zamalek's fans dreams.

On Wednesday, Zamalek named the Portuguese coach to succeed Patrice Carteron, who left the club after paying his release clause.

Pacheco became in the interest of Zamalek's officials after talks with Jesualdo Ferreira stopped due to personal circumstances.

In a video, the club's chairman Mortada Mansour said that the Portuguese manager signed a year and a half contract with the White Knights.

"Pacheco will start his mission by September 25 as his contract will last till the end of the next season," Mansour said.
