Zamalek's new head coach Jaime Pacheco has landed in Egypt on Sunday to start his mission with the White Knights, succeeding the French Patrice Carteron.

In a statement, Zamalek said that the Portuguese coach has been received by Zamalek's football supervisor Amir Mortada Mansour at Cairo International Airport.

On Wednesday, Zamalek named the Portuguese coach to succeed Patrice Carteron, who left the club after paying his release clause.

Pacheco became in the interest of Zamalek's officials after talks with Jesualdo Ferreira stopped due to personal circumstances.

In a video, the club's chairman Mortada Mansour said that the Portuguese manager signed a year and a half contract with the White Knights.

"Pacheco will start his mission by September 25 as his contract will last till the end of the next season," Mansour said.
