On the other hand, Russian Deputy Representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky said on Saturday, that Ukrainian accusations of Russia violating the Genocide Convention do not deserve attention.

It is worth mentioing that, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that Russia has taken control of 3,620 residential settlements in Ukraine since the start of the military operation on February 24.

In a press statement, Zelensky explained that these residential settlements include large cities and small towns, all of which have witnessed destruction and have become unsuitable for urban life.

Moreover, he pointed out that Moscow has used 2,500 missiles of various types against Ukraine since the start of the war, many of them targeting cities and infrastructure.

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a special military operation in Ukraine last February, which later turned into an armed conflict between Moscow and Kyiv.
