Osama Al-Azhari: Coordination with Al-Azhar and the Church to achieve the nation’s requirements

Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, pledged to work as one family to achieve everything that is beautiful, enlightening, and elegant, so that the mosques and houses of God will be transformed into platforms for safety, reassurance, hope, and knowledge, achieving the purposes of Sharia law, preserving this nation, and presenting rational, enlightening religious discourse.

Regarding the priorities of the next stage, Al-Azhari explained that they are summarized in several points. First, we are facing a large and great goal that was launched several years ago, which is the issue of renewing religious discourse, which requires mobilizing and gathering all the energies and talents present among preachers and imams, so we need to develop a map of the priorities of the discourse. Religious, and for people in mosques to hear vocabulary, meanings and values ​​that they desperately need.

Al-Azhari stressed that Egypt is a country facing difficult challenges on all fronts, and these challenges require great awareness from all state institutions, awareness and understanding of the extent of the danger surrounding the country, and deep awareness of the need of every person who enters the mosque to leave with his heart filled with tranquility, reassurance, and renewed hope.

The Minister of Endowments revealed the approach in coordination with the rest of the state institutions, led by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the Church, to achieve the requirements of the nation, and to achieve a major leap in developing culture, thought, reading, and awareness among preachers and imams, as well as coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to formulate a rational religious discourse, discover all talents, and develop programs. He worked to activate and revitalize the role of imams to spread everything enlightening in all the villages of Egypt.
