CAIRO, Nov. 22 (SEE)- I took part in Mediterranean meetings, which bring together 43 countries. Every time, I call for discussions and intellectual contributions that are suitable for rooting out the issues of interest in respect to the regional countries and peoples.

My job is to look for truth, analyze past and present acts and monitor possible scenarios and alternatives.

It was a good occasion to talk about the Moroccan personality and the Moroccan exceptional example in its regional context.

Peaceful Character

On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the Green March, His Majesty King Mohammed VI called for a direct and frank dialogue with sisterly nation, Algeria to overcome the situational and objective differences that hinder the development of relations between the two countries.

To achieve that goal, the king called on Algeria to establish a joint political mechanism for dialogue and consultation. The level of representation, form and nature of the agreement would be agreed on later.

Mohammed VI stressed that Morocco is open to Algeria's suggestions and initiatives in order to overcome the stalemate in the relations.

The King's call received warm reactions from the international community which greeted and saluted this fraternal initiative to heal the Maghreb rift, similar to the unity of the peoples of the region, the unity of religion and language, history and common destiny. "

This reality is not in line with the ambition that was motivating "the generation of liberation and independence" to achieve Maghreb unity, which was embodied at the time by the Tangier Conference in 1958.

The Kingdom's support for the Algerian revolution contributed to the consolidation of relations between the Moroccan throne and the Algerian resistance, and laid the foundation for joint Maghreb political awareness and action.

We resisted colonialism together for so many years until we obtained independence. We know each other well. Also, many Moroccan and Algerian families are tied with blood and kinship, as stated in the royal speech.

Morocco calls for people's interests which include good faith, unity, integration, integration, realism, hard work, a spirit of responsibility, clarity and ambition.

Nature of Moroccan Character Historically

The Moroccan character enabled political and social actors to make the political and contractual compact successful, unlike neighboring countries. It was based on the principles of compromise, consensus and trust.

In other words, the mutual concessions must be coupled with intellectual and field efforts that make all parties aware of the limits of concessions and the sensitivity of the political negotiating field.

This requires mutual trust among all parties and a rational exit until the equation becomes positive and able to create a public political arena involving all the community sectors without exception.

Morocco's Geostrategic Location

Morocco is an Arab and a Maghreb country located in North Africa. It has maintained its liaison position between the Mediterranean, Europe and Africa.

The political stability and openness that Morocco enjoys have given it great credibility at the regional and international levels.

Moreover, Rabat plays a role in spreading the moderation of Islam in the Sahel and sub-Saharan Africa. In fact, many regional countries have tried to imitate the moderate example of Islam seen in our country.

Morocco has engaged in a rapid movement to restructure the religious path and reconsider plenty of laws and regulations, such as establishment of the Institute of Imams and female Guides, adoption of an ambitious project to rehabilitate old schools and establishment of a scientific council of communities…etc.

Therefore, the fortification and management of the religious affairs is one of the pillars of Morocco's national identity.

Since 1999 when King Mohamed VI ascended to the throne, the state's prestigious institutions drew up an unprecedented religious strategy.

The religious atmosphere is no longer subject to sectoral or circumstantial strategies, but it is regulated according to a comprehensive perspective.
