Opera House Celebrates 32nd Anniv. with 9th Symphony

The Ciro Opera house celebrated its 32nd on Saturday, with a distinguished classic evening. During the celebration, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra dazzled all crowd, led by Maestro Ahmed Al-Saidi, and with the participation of Cairo Opera Troupe stars, Iman Mostafa, Reda El-Wakeel, Amr Medhat, and Julie Fayzi.

The event included the 9th symphony By the famous German composer Ludwig van Beethoven, which is considered one of the greatest compositions in the world music history and was named by critics as the ''choral symphony''.

The Cairo Symphony Orchestra was led by Maestro Ahmed Al-Saidi with the Cairo Uber Ensemble, its choir is higher than its stars, namely Eman Mostafa, Reda Al-Wakeel, Julie Fayazy, and Amr Medhat.

So “Al-Saidi” presented the great melody in several ways, fast to grandiose to slow with singing, as a song written by the German poet and playwright was sung, watching the magnificence and significance of the melody complete, which expresses the brotherhood in humanity.

From 1812 until 2000, when he appeared at the beginning of the movement, while he showed his back at the beginning of the movement,, the audience began to applaud continuously until the end, continuously until the end of the ceremony, the crowd stood cheering, raising hats and waving happily, while Beethoven did not start. Dr. Magdy Saber the Opera House Director explained that the Opera has chosen Beethoven's 9th Symphony to celebrate the Opera’s birthday 32nd in order to confirm its prestigious position and strength.

In addition, its important role in preserving forms of heritage creativity and displaying the various colors of serious arts and transmitting world cultures to Egypt's people.

Dr. Saber added that Beethoven's 9th Symphony contains a love message for all humanity, and its the 1st message of Egypt's Opera House, which it will preserve, as well as it will open its doors to creativity and talent.

Noteworthy, the opera succeeded in engraving lines of light On the pages of the history of arts and culture regionally and internationally, it was a prominent reflection of the civilizational leadership in all fields
