Early Saturday, the Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur bid farewell to the 2025 Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tennis tournament of the year, after losing to US Emma Navarro.
Ons Jabeur was defeated in the third round in a three-set match, with scores of 6-4, 3-6, and 6-4, exiting the tournament early despite being a strong contender to go far in Melbourne.
Jabeur ranking has dropped to 39th due to fitness issues as she was forced to withdraw from several tournaments last year, including the US Open due to a shoulder injury and the Paris Olympics over knee concerns.
