Omar Marmoush is set to reach a major milestone when Manchester City visit Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday evening in a crucial Premier League title clash.

City head into the match determined to secure all three points as they continue their pursuit of leaders Arsenal.

A win would temporarily cut the gap at the top to two points, increasing the pressure ahead of Arsenal’s upcoming London derby against Chelsea.

Pep Guardiola’s side appear to have regained momentum, winning their last three matches against Liverpool, Fulham, and Newcastle United with convincing performances and attacking efficiency.

However, they are aware that Leeds, currently 15th with 31 points, have proven to be resilient against top sides this season.

Leeds stunned Chelsea earlier in the campaign and held both Liverpool and Manchester United to draws.

They also enter the contest on the back of consecutive draws against Chelsea and Aston Villa, boosting their confidence ahead of City’s visit.

For Marmoush, the match could mark his 50th appearance in all competitions for Manchester City since joining from Eintracht Frankfurt in the winter transfer window of 2025.

The Egyptian forward has featured in 49 matches so far, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists, totaling 17 goal contributions in 2,594 minutes, according to Transfermarkt data.

City will once again rely on their attacking firepower led by Erling Haaland alongside Marmoush as they look to maintain pressure in what has become a tense and finely balanced title race. With Arsenal dropping four points in their last three matches, the battle for the Premier League crown has intensified, turning the closing weeks of the season into a true test of nerves.
