Dr. Nevine Kilani, Minister of Culture, announced the selection of Oman as the guest of honor for the next edition 56th of Cairo International Book Fair 2025.
The Minister of Culture witnessed the handing over ceremony of the guest of honor of the Cairo International Book Fair, from Ambassador Hilde Klimtsdal, Ambassador of Norway in Cairo, to Mr. Khalifa bin Rashid Al Shamsi, Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Head of Mission of Oman in Cairo.
The Minister of Culture expressed her aspirations that this choice will become a catalyst for further cooperation and cultural exchange with the Omani side, in a way that supports the depth and strength of ties between the two countries, and thanked the Kingdom of Norway, the guest of honor of the current session, for their historic participation.
