The Israeli occupation forces committed one of the bloodiest massacres in the Gaza Strip, killing more than 100 Palestinians and wounding more than 150 others with direct shelling of the Al-Tabaeen school in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza. The shelling came while the displaced people were performing the Fajar prayer in the school praying area.
UNICEF confirmed that more than half of the schools used as shelters for IDPs in the Gaza Strip were targeted.
Israel had committed 8 massacres, in the Baptist Hospital on 17/10/2023, 500 martyrs, and in a residential neighborhood in Jabalia camp on 31/10/ 2023 400 martyrs, in addition to 200 martyrs who fell in the massacre of UNRWA's Al-Fakhura School on 18/11/ 2023. The atrocities of the Israeli genocide were manifested by the "Al-Taheen" floor massacres in the Nabulsi Roundabout with 118 martyrs on 29/11/ 2024, in addition to the massacre of Al-Shifa Hospital committed on 18/3/2024, the IDP tent holocaust in the city of Rafah, which killed 45 IDPs on 26/5/2024, and the massacre of 40 IDPs at Al-Nuseirat School camp on 6/6/2024, along with the massacre of Al-Nawasi IDP camp in Khan Younis on 13/6/2024, which was attacked by five Israeli missiles killing 90 Palestinians.
According OIC Media Observatory for Israeli Crimes against the Palestinians, the number of martyrs during the past week reached 290 martyrs in 16 massacres in one week only, while 726 others were injured, and the total number of martyrs killed by the Israeli occupation since 7 /10/2023 until 12/8/2024, in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and occupied city of Al-Quds was about 40519 martyrs.
In the meantime, the United Nations reported that about two-thirds of the buildings in the Gaza Strip have been completely destroyed or damaged since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, according to satellite images.
In the West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces killed 16 Palestinians and arrested 152 others during the past seven days, while 7 houses were demolished in Jenin, Al-Quds, Bethlehem, and Al-Khalil. The blessed Aqsa Mosque was subjected to almost daily incursions; the number of perpetrators reached 2090 Israeli extremists.
Settler gangs raided about 51 times the villages and towns of the West Bank, burning agricultural land in the villages of Ramallah, Nablus, and Bethlehem, grazing their sheep in Palestinian lands, and destroying Palestinian crops and trees in the villages of Bethlehem. The settlers stole solar cells, an electricity complex, and the contents of houses in Tubas.
Furthermore, the settlers bulldozed an area of 6,000 square meters of agricultural land between the villages of Yasuf and Iskaka in Salfit and uprooted 100 olive trees with the aim of expanding the Israeli settlement of "Novi Hamaya" and erected their tents there. The occupation forces also bulldozed agricultural land with the aim of building an agricultural road to the same settlement. Settlers in the Hayman area near the town of Yatta put up a fence around a piece of land in order to seize it.
The occupation forces bulldozed the land surrounding the settlement of "Rahalim" with the aim of expanding the latter, while the Israeli occupation forces bulldozed three roundabouts, streets, a water network, fences for Palestinians, and vehicles in Jenin, and destroyed public property and commercial stalls. They demolished two water wells and destroyed a vehicle in Al-Khalil, confiscated a bulldozer, and destroyed two commercial facilities in Al-Quds.
