Ambassador Tarig Ali Bakheet, Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and Mr. Nathan Carey, Global Advocacy Lead Partnerships and Policy at the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the OIC and NRC, to establish and conduct cooperation in areas such as Humanitarian Diplomacy, advocacy, and provision of humanitarian assistance to refugees in the OIC Member States.
The signing of the MoU, which is the culmination of consultations and negotiations started earlier this year, took place on the sidelines of the 4th edition of the Riyadh Humanitarian Forum.
