The General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation welcomed a delegation from Dar Al-Hekma University as part of efforts to strengthen knowledge partnerships between the organization and academic institutions and to advance public and people-to-people diplomacy initiatives.
The visit took place at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah, where officials delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the organization’s objectives, programs and diplomatic activities. The session aimed to provide students and young professionals with a deeper understanding of the OIC’s role in representing member states and addressing regional and international challenges.
During the meeting, Youssef Al-Dubaie, Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, and Tariq Ali Bakhit, Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian, Cultural and Social Affairs, highlighted the organization’s diplomatic mechanisms and ongoing initiatives in political coordination, humanitarian response and cultural cooperation among member states.
